Central Eastern European CEO’s expect to increase salaries in 2015
2014-11-29 source ownIn a newly released poll by KPMG over 50% of CEO’s in CEE anticipate to boost wages by 5% or more in 2015. With 37% of other business leaders expecting to have to improve wages by between 2.0% to 4.9% in 8 CEE countires the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.
Among the main reasons for the anticipated increases in salaries is because quality, qualified staff are becoming harder to find as a result of healthy growth in Central Eastern European business. As many as 28% of the CEO's think salary hikes need to be based on greater productivity with 25% of those polls citing improved financial performance a key factor for them.
