2017-02-27 source own

In 2016, around €530 million worth of loans were made available by the European Investment Bank (EIB) to Croatia. Furthermore, the European Investment Fund introduced a number of new operations worth €16 million. Currently, the focus is very much on reducing the disparities between different regions and their development. However, there are also attempts to improve the quality of life and living standard of citizens as well as improving the competitiveness within the economy.

In Croatia, around 1.2% of GDP comes from EIB financing which is the third largest amount within the EU Member States.
