2017-06-22 source ownFrom January to April 2017, four full months, much of Europe saw growth but it was the Baltic nations who stole the show by all recording positive numbers. According to Eurostat, their exports now stand at the following positions;
Latvia - €3.7 billion (10% increase)
Lithuania - €8.1 billion (15% increase)
Estonia - €4.1 billion (9% increase)
Furthermore, we also received news of imports for the same countries and they were as follows;
Latvia - €4.4 billion (11% increase)
Lithuania - €9.1 billion (17% increase)
Estonia - €5 billion (12% increase)
As we can see, trade increased dramatically for all three countries and this led to changes in trade deficit with Lithuania holding the biggest at €0.7 billion. For Estonia and Latvia, this figure is slightly smaller at €0.6 billion.
