New logistics operation for Ritchey
2016-10-13 source ownAfter opening a brand new logistics operation in Singen, Germany, Ritchey International is following plans to switch to dealer direct distribution across Europe. From this one location, Ritchey plans to service all retailers within Europe with its many components, steel bikes, and main frames.
Director of Sales for Ritchey, Riccardo Deliziosi, has said “The opening of our own facility in Europe will allow Ritchey to reach more retailers, and broaden our availability of products. The complete bikes are a great addition to our range, and continue the strong heritage that Ritchey has always had for high quality steel frames. With a strengthened sales force, a completely revised marketing approach, and much closer involvement with the press, we are able to work with the best dealers to have Ritchey bikes and components represented to their fullest.”
Over the years, Ritchey has built three key relationships with European distributors - Cosmic Sports GmbH in Germany, Tehava BV in the Netherlands, and Paligap Ltd in the UK - and nothing will change as far as this is concerned. In an extension of their partnership, all three distributors will continue servicing their respective countries. In addition to this, Ritchey has also promised to continue working with the smaller regional distributors that they have built a relationship with so far.
