Onboard Spin Bikes for Futuristic Train Designs
2017-11-27 source ownJudging by the release of a new design from the Bavarian Railway Company (BEG) and DB Regio, commuters may soon have their journeys amped up a little with the addition of onboard spin bikes. As part of a new double-decker design, the train has been dubbed ‘the idea train’ and it has now been unveiled to the market. In addition to the bikes, the train also boasts public viewing areas, play areas for children, and sports/premium compartments.
Originally, the idea started with exercise bikes and this has very much been at the fore of the creation since the start of development last year. For the lucky commuters in Nuremberg, they’ll be testing the idea and it might just expand to other areas if successful.
