Poland; Katowice to Welcome MK Bowling Alley
2017-07-17 source ownAfter weeks of speculation, it seems as though MK Bowling has now chosen the location for their new bowling alley in Poland and this is in the Galeria Libero mall, Katowice. In total, there will be ten lanes in the building hosting 1,400 square metres of space; MK Bowling will also offer a pub, an Italian restaurant, and some pool tables.
Owner of MK Bowling, Tomasz Stanislawski, has said “We chose Libero mostly due to its location, because the southern part of Katowice is characterised by a low level of retail space saturation and high purchasing power. The fact that Echo Investment’s project includes innovative architecture that improves customer and tenant convenience and comfort was also important to us. MK Bowling in Libero will have some of the most modern bowling alleys in the region while its other facilities will guarantee a rich event calendar.”
Currently, MK Bowling is the largest bowling chain in Poland operating across ten cities and utilising 17,000 square metres. With this new Katowice facility, they will be adding to their alleys already in Karlino, Poznan, Koszalin, Slupsk, Suwalki, Zgorzelec, Radom, Kielce, Gdansk, and Szczecin.
