The home of the iconic celebrity fitness scene, World Gym, is expanding in the Russian market. The gym, that is famous for treating everyone like a star, has announced franchise growth and new franchisee programs.

The 11th Russian location of the World Gym opened last October in Sinitsa. The new facility boasts 33,000 square feet of gym space, including a health and nutrition counseling centre, personal training, massage, a nail salon, tanning, and a café. The club will also feature a swimming pool and a child care centre, two amenities that are not available at any other gym in the area. Various classes will be offered to members including aerobics, cycling, swimming, martial arts, yoga, dance, weightlifting and children’s fitness.

The company has a well-established international network. Elizaveta Dikaya, owner of World Gym Sinitsa said, “We had no doubts that the brand’s long history and traditions would help us carve out a niche in the Russian fitness market. World Gym is more than just a name; it’s a philosophy and a set of principles that allow an operator to grow and develop, whether in the U.S. or abroad. It’s a way of life. We are proud to be a part of the international World Gym Family.”
