Bicycles Sales Increase in Austria

Overall bicycle sales increased in Austria by 5.1% in 2014, compared to 2013. In Austria, 400,000 bikes sales are considered the annual benchmark; so with 401,388 sales in 2014, the goal was exceeded. There were sales increases in almost all sectors of the bicycle industry, with E-bikes being the star performer, with over 52,348 electric bikes sold in 2014, which was an increase of 16.4% compared to 2013.
