Martes Sport Junior to Launch in Poland

2018-01-11 source own
With the sport goods market in Poland growing, Martes Sport has now welcomed its first Junior store in Poland. Located in Galeria Echo in Kielce, the store has actually replaced the former Martes Sport that once stood on the ‘-1’ floor. As a result, the adult store has moved to the ‘+1’ level and boasts space of 800 square metres.

In charge of developing the Martes Sports chain, Tomasz Barchanski recently said “All sporting goods from Martes Sport enjoy great popularity amongst all age levels, thus the idea of creating a separate brand for younger customers. We always opt for well-established shopping centres, characterized by good management and care for tenants’ business, that is why our new concept, Martes Sport Junior, is to be first opened in Galeria Echo.”

For the Galeria Echo itself, the idea actually came as an extension of a previous shopping centre which perhaps suggests the growth being enjoyed in Kielce. In total, the shopping complex now offers 250 stores with a combined 70,000 square metres of space. With the expansion, a multi-storey car park was also developed by EPP, owners and managers of Galeria Echo, which holds 2,100 cars.
