New luxury hotel for the Austrian mountains

A new hotel will soon launch in the Austrian mountains boasting, among other high-quality facilities, a high-altitude hypoxic chamber. The chamber has been designed by interior designer Reinhard Strasser and will be used by many professional athletes.

Andrew Flowers, a British businessman, is responsible for the ‘Blumen Haus Lech’ hotel which should launch in the last month of 2016. Flowers has been quoted as saying “I want to raise the bar for boutique hotels in Austria” and he has also said that the plan is to attract skiers who are operating nearby.

With nine suites with balconies, ski amenities that were produced with the brand Indigo, an art gallery, and a fine dining restaurant, the complex is sure to be busy during the popular months. The Tyrolean region was used for the reclaimed wood and Alpine tradition has been adhered to when it comes to the copper roof. However, inside the building is extremely modern with Italian furnishings, air conditioning, and even iPad controls for the lighting.

The Blumen Haus Lech will also look to draw visitors in with their many facilities which include two saunas, a steam room, hair salon, spa treatment suite, whirlpool and infinity pool. In addition to this, the athletes will have an opportunity to use the Technogym, cardio area, and then of course, the main attraction which is the hypoxic chamber which allows altitude training up to 18,000 feet.

Garmin, the navigation device manufacturer, has been expanding for many years and always looks for ways to get involved in their various markets. Over the years, nothing has changed this and it has been proven again with their new sponsorship of Swiss Bike Marathon.

With over 50 locations based around the world, Garmin will be looking to use experience as they sponsor the team and join the logo for the main event. The Swiss Bike Marathon racing series has been enjoying increasing popularity in recent years and now hold five events each year; Garmin will also feature as the name-bearer for the Garmin Bike Cup which is set to be held in the west of Switzerland.
