Head sales on the rise in Germany

2014-06-10 source own
Head NV, a leading global manufacturer of premium sports equipment and apparel, is reporting rising sales in Germany. An increase of 6.6 percent has been announced, bringing total sales to €39 million in 2013. Although Germany experienced an unusually warm winter, sales of winter sporting goods saw the largest increase. On average, winter sports goods showed an 11 percent increase, reaching €19 million in sales. The Austrian company is hesitant to make predictions about their 2014 figures, but rates of pre-orders for winter sporting goods remain steady, despite the poor weather experienced last season. Orders for summer sporting equipment are on the rise, reporting in at a 7.5 percent increase. High demand for racket sports equipment could see the company reporting further sales increases for this year.
