SIS Pitches to install a new pitch in Russia

2015-02-17 source own
SIS Pitches – with which is headquartered in Cumbria, UK – are sustaining their growth in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) with the confirmation they are to construct a new football pitch in Russia.

SIS’s Eastern Europe team have been employed to build a new stadium pitch for FC Krasnodar, who play in the Russian Premier League and are currently building their new stadium. This follows SIS on from their recent work for Spartak Moscow’s brand new stadium, the Otkritie Arena, in the summer.

The football pitch is going to be Russia’s first cooled as well as heated pitch with an under soil aeration and heating and cooling system.

Design work started in early December 2014, with development works planned to start in March 2015 and finished by May 2015, with a total of in excess of 30 staff from SIS Pitches involved in the project.

The opening event for the new stadium is estimated for October 2015, SIS Pitches will continue to maintain this unique pitch as soon as it is opened.

Krasnodar is a city with hot summers and cold winters, which ensured SIS Pitches’ experiences of working in the hottest environments in Dubai along with the coldest in Moscow was an excellent advantage for SIS securing this project.
