Growth of Bikes imported into Central Europe

Just under 2 million bicycles were imported into Central Europe from outside of the EU manufacturers in the last two quarters of 2013 and the first 2 quarters of 2014, this represented a 3.4% increase for the same period a year earlier. Germany was the largest market for bikes imported follow by Poland, Switzerland and Austria. The fastest growing sector of the bicycle industry in Central Europe in 2014 was e-bikes (electric bikes)
