Halti Oy's  distribution in Central Europe is gaining traction. The business has joined in a five-year collaboration with the Oberalp Group, headquartered in Bolzano, Italy (www. overlap.com), to take care of the Italian and the Austrian markets. With an eye on the future, developments in additional Central European countries are being considered.
The Oberalp Group is a prominent business in the sporting goods industry. With its own brands: SALEWA, DYNAFIT, Pomoca, and Wild Country, the company is an important manufacturer in the mountain and outdoor sports market. With its brand name experts, the Oberalp Group’s goals are to develop international, premium quality sport brands like Halti, Speedo, and Fischer in the Central European markets.

"Halti is seeking a fresh start, together with the growth and development of the crucial Central European Mountain Sports and Outdoor activity sectors. The partnership with Oberalp indicates an important strategic step in the direction of the achievement of this goal. The business carries a strong brand, making its placement in vital key markets promising. Along with Italy, whose partnership was developed at an earlier date, Halti's key country of export, Austria, will also be incorporated into its distribution coverage area. The next phase will be to gradually discover business growth in additional CE countries. The contract generates stability, together with credibility for Halti, as a growing brand in the highly competitive sportswear industry in the growth market of Central Europe. The partnership additionally includes the RaiSki brand", Halti's CEO, Jukka-PekkaVuori, declared.
"The Halti brand name provides Scandinavian knowledge, great technical quality, as well as a very interesting narrative to Oberalp's import collection of sports brands, which will, without a doubt, enable it to find both marketplace demand and target consumers in the developing Central European market for sporting goods. I anticipate a good deal from our partnership, not to mention that I know we will find a win-win scenario, which will benefit both sports business partners tremendously. We look forward to our partnership growing to new market areas in the upcoming years", Oberalp's CEO, Massimo Baratto, states in turn.
