Ochsner acquires major German sporting goods chain

Ochsner Sport, Switzerland’s leading sporting goods retailer, speeded up its expansion into Europe. Already owning two outlets in Germany, Ochsner recently made public the acquisition of Sport Sperk, a Bavarian focused sports chain of 13 outlets.
The year 2014 saw an increase in sales by 7% to 442 million Swiss francs (€427.4 million), as Ochsner Sport affirms itself as an important player in Central Europe in both Switzerland and Germany, Ochsner delivers a mix of high quality and affordable sports and leisure goods whilst delivering strong customer service which enables it to keep a strong connection with its customers.
