energie Group expands into Poland

energie Group, which has nearly 100 clubs and 100,000 members in the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe, has decided to make the jump into Eastern Europe with clubs opening in Poland and Latvia. An announcement was made recently which would see two of the Fit4less, low-cost clubs opening in Gdansk and one opening in Riga.

Latvia currently has three women-only energie clubs, the first opening in 2010, opened by Edgars and Kriss Baglais. The two expect to open Eastern Europe’s first Fit4less centre at a 6,000 square foot sized site in Riga late in 2015 with the second being planned already. Poland will also see their first energie clubs opening in the near future, both will be bigger at around 7,500 square feet. Suchanino and Srodmiescie are the two locations chosen for the new sites with the Suchanino club boasting state-of-the-art equipment, high-tech gym, studio and a functional fitness area. Both clubs are to be launched by franchisees of a successful club in London.

“We’re delighted to be ready to go with our first franchisees for Poland. The opening of these first two sites will act as the catalyst for a rapid expansion of the Fit4less brand across Poland” said Jonathan Pearson, master franchisee for Fit4less in Poland.
