The commercial fitness sector in Central Europe (CE) is bouncing back with gyms across the region reporting user numbers now almost matching their peak in 2019. Three Central European countries are in the top 10 for most expensive places to work out with Austria having the most expensive gyms in the world, with an average monthly membership costing $107.38, Czech was 9th with a cost of $ 76.52 per month followed by Switzerland in 10th where it cost on average $ 73.04 to workout per month. On the opposite side of the monthly cost Poland boasted the lowest monthly gym membership in Central Europe at $28.86, Lithuania was the lowest in the EU at $ 24.78.
