Forty Management Unveils Europe's First Urban Beach in Bucharest: Lagoon Park Bucharest

This innovative transformation of an industrial site into a vibrant urban beach represents a significant investment of 33 million euros.
Lucian Azoiței, CEO of Forty Management, emphasized the unique appeal of Lagoon Park Bucharest, stating, "This is the first artificial urban beach in a European capital, offering a serene escape from city life. Our project seamlessly blends technology and nature, converting a 40,000 sqm abandoned industrial area into a lush urban oasis. The park features a stunning 10,000 sqm turquoise lagoon with an average depth of 2 meters, 11,000 sqm of white sandy beaches, 1,150 sun loungers and umbrellas, two restaurants, 280 public parking spaces, a Lexus car showroom, and numerous other amenities, including water sports and our own LagoonRadio station."

Additionally, they are developing three luxury hotels with a total of 702 rooms: Radisson Lagoon and Central District Hotel – Crest Collection in Bucharest, and the Swisshotel Hotel in Lagoon City Budapest.
