In the first three months of 2017, the GDP for Czechia increased by just under 3% compared to the same period in 2016; this came as somewhat of a surprise for many industry experts. With a slower growth expected, it is also one whole percentage point larger than the growth in the fourth quarter of last year. According to the report, this large increase can be attributed to a larger demand on the international stage as well as consumption increasing at home.
