ASICS Europe has had a fantastic first three quarters as a result of significant growth in many areas; sales as a whole for the sports retailer were up by nearly 15%.

France, Poland, Sweden, Russia and the Netherlands all recorded double-digit sales growth as well as Norway, Denmark, Austria, Belgium and Luxemburg. The increase in sales weren’t as good in the UK, Germany and Italy but they still enjoyed single-digit sales growth nonetheless.

Premium and lifestyle sports-fashion retailers have helped to sell the GEL-KAYANO EVO, a shoe that was originally launched in 1993 and have seen the shoe have its best year to date. Another nineties product range, ASICS Tiger, was relaunched in 2015 and enjoyed triple-digit growth from the year before.

Sales in tennis apparel also rose by over 40% as well as tennis footwear which saw an increase in sales of 16%. There was also a 25% rise in sales in ASICS’ own retail stores which provides the company with tremendous hope for the year ahead.
