Allegro sees boost in sporting goods online category

In recent years, Allegro has gained a strong grip on the e-commerce market in Poland and they are now reporting that the ‘sporting goods’ category is seeing huge growth. According to the latest report, 10.5 million transactions took place in 2016 with 30 million total bids occurring. Currently, 530 brands make up the Allegro site with 130 of these coming from sports brands. Of these, it is the cycling and accessories market taking the lead closely followed by fitness, fishing, and team sports.
