Deichmann Expands Central and Eastern European Presence with New Distribution Hub in Bucharest's ELI Park

German shoe retail giant, Deichmann, is set to strengthen its operations across Central and Eastern Europe with the opening of a new distribution hub in ELI Park Bucharest. The company has signed a lease agreement for 20,000 square meters of industrial space, marking a key move in expanding its logistics capabilities in the region.
"This project will enhance our operations in Central and South-Eastern Europe, positioning us for sustained growth in the years to come. We are excited to integrate this new facility into Deichmann's extensive network and proud to establish our own independent distribution center," said Ruxandra Frunzetti, Managing Director of Deichmann Logistica.
The lease agreement is set for an initial 7-year period, with the option to extend for an additional 3 years. The space also includes 1,050 square meters allocated for offices and social areas, ensuring a comprehensive logistics operation.
ELI Parks representatives emphasized the strategic importance of this move, stating, "Deichmann's decision to establish an international distribution center here underscores the key advantages of our location and infrastructure for leading companies in retail and e-commerce."
Deichmann was advised by CBRE in securing the lease, further solidifying the company's commitment to expanding its footprint in the European market.
