Dutch Special needs bike manufacturer buys factory in Poland

2021-03-01 source own
Van Raam the Special needs bike manufacturer from the Netherlands has just brought a factory in Poland so that it can meet the growing demand for its bikes. The factory is located in the southwest of the country, in Wykroty which is 25km from the German border and 30km from  the Czech border so the location is perfect to service the whole Central European market.

The new factory is 6,500 square meter and sits in five hectares of land so room for expansion.
Van Raam has been looking for production expansion opportunities for some time. Due to the increase demand for special needs bicycles, the 13.500 square meter headquarters and factory in Vaarseveld, where Van Raam has been located since 2019, has already become too small.

Van Raam is a manufacturer of special needs bicycles for people with a disability. The specialities of Van Raam are tricycles, scooter bikes, tandems, side-by-side tandems, wheelchair bikes, transport bikes, walking aids and bikes with low access or comfort bikes. The unique Van Raam pedal support is possible on most of these special needs bicycles. Van Raam bicycles travel the world, with a focus on almost all European countries and North America.
