Fantastic deal from Swiss ski resort

2016-11-15 source own
As ski resorts continue to battle for the attention of daring customers, Saas-Fee has used Crowdfunding in order to offer extremely low prices. Normally, a four-day ticket would cost €239 but now they are offering a whole winter for just €205.

Located in the Canton of Calais, the resort is offering three spectacular deals as long as 99,999 people register for them by the end of November. Not only are they offering the season pass for just over €200, they also have a three-year deal for €574 and a 15-year offer for just €2769.

For many looking in from the outside, the first question is likely to be ‘why’ and this would be fair. According to the resort, they are currently struggling to survive, as are many Swiss resorts, due to the Franc’s strength. As the exchange rates have changed in recent years, tourists are finding it difficult to afford a trip to the resort whilst many Swiss people are choosing to take advantage of the cheaper rates in France, Austria, and Italy.

Currently, the campaign has around 10,000 applicants who have chosen one of the deals and they will only pay if the 99,999 target is hit.
