GT Bicycles Announces Exclusive Partnership with Silverfish for German Distribution

GT Bicycles is excited to unveil a new exclusive partnership with Silverfish to distribute its renowned products in Germany, one of the largest bicycle markets in the EU. Starting Sunday, September 1, 2024, Silverfish will offer the full range of GT Bicycles, including their World Cup-winning mountain bikes, award-winning gravel bikes, and a comprehensive selection of parts and accessories through independent bike dealers.

In a strategic move in 2022, GT Bicycles returned to its roots in Southern California and welcomed brand specialist Jason Schiers to lead a new team focused on unlocking the brand's potential for the future. This partnership with Silverfish marks the first step in GT’s long-term plan to collaborate with world-class distributors to drive growth and success.

Ash Clark, GT’s International Sales Director, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, saying, "It’s a true privilege to establish this partnership with Silverfish. Throughout our collaboration, it became evident that we share a deep passion and culture for cycling, particularly in the off-road sector. We are united in our vision for expanding the GT brand across Europe."

Silverfish’s Managing Director, Matthew Osborne, added, "Every mountain biker has a GT story. With over 50 years of innovation, GT is a brand that resonates with riders worldwide. Thanks to Jason’s vision and focus on independent bike dealers, GT is poised to captivate both riders and retailers with its new line of exceptional bikes."

This partnership not only strengthens Silverfish’s portfolio with GT’s mountain and gravel bikes but also opens up new sales opportunities, solidifying both companies’ commitment to excellence in the cycling industry.
