Leading Austrian and Central Eastern European sporting goods chain Hervis Sports, which is part of the Spar group, has just opened a new bike flagship store after transforming a regular multi-category store in the Stadlau district of Vienna, the total square footage is 2,000 square meters.

With this the new flagship store Hervis offers a huge selection of bikes, accessories and cycling clothing in Stadlau. The project was implemented by bwmretail with an eye-catching, oversized wheel rim on the ceiling as a centerpiece.
Austrian sporting goods chain store giant Hervis Sport has also recently announced a new store in Innsbruck, Austria. This new approach relies not only on a chain store expansion in Austria, but in six further European countries in which they are already on the ground. The focus of this heralded spring offensive is on nothing but "bicycles, outdoor and even more stores."

Currently, Hervis has 235 sports goods chain stores in 7 Central European (CE) countries. All of them are also focused on selling bicycle products. While Hervis is one of the major players in the bicycle, outdoor and sports sector on the domestic market, where it now has more than 100 stores, it counts just 11 stores in neighbouring Germany, all of which are located in the south. Furthermore, there are 15 chain stores in Croatia, 18 in Slovenia, 36 in Romania, 22 in the Czech Republic and 29 Hervis chain stores in Hungary.
