Hyatt is a well-known name in many countries in Europe and another one that is set to be added to this list in the coming years is Bulgaria. The company has decided to open the Hyatt Regency Sofia in the centre of the Bulgarian capital. The site, which is to include a 500 square meter spa, will be located near the National Assembly and, if all goes to plan, will open in 2018.
In addition to nearly 200 rooms, the hotel will boast a fitness centre and spa which will include a thermal area, an indoor swimming pool, treatment rooms, and even a gym.
Senior Vice President, Peter Norman, has said “Hyatt Regency Sofia will be designed to foster connections and serve as a dynamic, energising place where guests can collaborate, share, and find inspiration. We are confident that the globally recognised Hyatt Regency brand will resonate with the growing base of business and leisure travellers visiting the country.”
