Intersocks Elevates Logistics and Production with New Automated Warehouse in Kočevje

Intersocks, a global leader in technical sock innovation and a key distributor in the sportswear industry, has made a major leap forward by opening a cutting-edge automated warehouse in Kočevje, Slovenia. This strategic move strengthens the company’s production and logistics capabilities, marking a pivotal step in enhancing operational efficiency.
The new Autostore system, a fully automated robotic warehousing solution, is set to revolutionize Intersocks' logistics by streamlining order processing, increasing delivery speed and accuracy, and easing employee workloads. This expansion supports the company's ability to meet rising market demand across domestic and international markets.
Following the warehouse launch, Intersocks plans to continue its growth with the construction of a high-bay facility capable of holding 10,000 to 12,000 pallets. This future development will significantly bolster its warehousing capacity to keep pace with global market expansion.
While the financial details of the investment were not disclosed, Intersocks had previously announced plans for a €10 million investment in the automated high-bay warehouse. This latest endeavor follows the company's earlier success with a new production hall in Kočevje, featuring advanced sock knitting technology and upgraded IT infrastructure.
Part of the Swiss-based Arklyz Group, Intersocks is a powerhouse in technical sock manufacturing and a leading distributor for iconic brands like Crocs across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. With roots dating back to 1992, Intersocks has consistently delivered high-quality products for sports, leisure, and specialist markets. The company boasts a diverse portfolio of private label partnerships and distribution agreements with renowned brands such as Salomon, Nordica, The North Face, and Asics.
Beyond its core hosiery business, Intersocks is also expanding its reach in sports-lifestyle and outdoor apparel, with a strong focus on Central-Eastern Europe and growing presence in wider European and international markets. The company's distribution network offers unparalleled access to key retail channels for brand owners and manufacturers.
With over 180 employees and revenues exceeding €75 million in the past year, Intersocks continues to demonstrate robust growth and innovation, positioning itself as a leader in both the technical sock manufacturing and sportswear distribution industries.
