LifeFit Group Expands Club Pilates Across Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands

LifeFit Group, led by Matin Seibold, is accelerating the rollout of Xponential’s Club Pilates across Germany, with plans to expand into Austria and the Netherlands. As the master franchisor for these regions, LifeFit Group is set to bring this popular reformer Pilates concept to new locations.
Rapid Expansion in Germany
After launching the first German Club Pilates in Frankfurt-Bornheim in May 2023, followed by a second location in Königstein, LifeFit Group is rapidly expanding in Hamburg. The first of four Hamburg studios opened in June 2023, with the remaining three scheduled to open within the next two months. Further expansions are planned for various German cities throughout next year.
Positive Performance and Future Plans
"The studios that have opened so far are performing even better than expected," says Christophe Collinet, CCO of LifeFit Group and MD of LifeFit Group Franchise. “We believe Club Pilates has great potential to expand in Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands.”
Membership and Pricing
Club Pilates offers classes priced at €29 each, with a membership option available for €149, which includes eight visits per month.
Recognized Training Program
The Club Pilates Teacher Training program, consisting of 500 hours of classroom instruction, independent study, and online learning, has been recognized by the German Pilates Association.
Pilates Popularity on the Rise
According to the Classpass Trend Report for 2023, Pilates was the most popular workout worldwide, with bookings increasing by 92 percent over the previous year. With more than 850 franchise studios globally, Club Pilates is a rapidly growing boutique fitness concept, having recently made its debut in London.
Strategic Growth and New Ownership
LifeFit Group is currently being acquired by Waterland Private Equity Investments from Oaktree Capital, which will support its continued growth strategy. Meanwhile, Xponential is undergoing leadership changes with the departure of CEO Anthony Geisler and the arrival of new CEO, Mark King.
