Starting in the fall/winter season of 2025, Merz AG will take over the exclusive distribution of CAT Footwear’s lifestyle segment in Switzerland. As a renowned distributor of premium footwear and apparel brands, Merz AG is poised to leverage its expertise in sales, marketing, and customer service to expand CAT Footwear's presence in the Swiss market.

"We are thrilled to welcome such an iconic and well-established brand as CAT Footwear to our portfolio. We see great potential to further strengthen its position in Switzerland," says Erich Kohler, Managing Director of Merz AG. Merz currently manages other leading brands, including Saucony and Merrell.

CAT Footwear, part of the global Wolverine Worldwide group, is the official global footwear licensee of Caterpillar Inc. Initially launched with a small collection of durable work boots, the brand now offers a diverse range of work and casual footwear sold around the world. Through this new partnership, Merz AG aims to significantly grow the CAT Footwear brand in Switzerland, building on its strong reputation for rugged, reliable footwear.
