New A&O Hostels for Poland

2019-02-18 source own
In the third quarter of 2019, Warsaw is expecting to welcome Poland’s first A&O Hostels location. Although the A&O Hostels brand has grown in recent years to include locations in 22 cities across seven countries, this will be their first venture into Poland. After renovating a former office in the Wola district, the building is expected to host 600 beds across 200 rooms.

Henri Wilmes, Chief Investment Officer at A&O, has said “Our hostel will be the largest branded hostel in Warsaw. Poland has a very young population and there are lots of students, young people, and families for whom Warsaw is a very popular travel destination. Kicking off our premiere in Poland with such a promising project sets us up really nicely for our future expansion into Eastern Europe.’

Opening in the former eight-storey office building, it has taken the brand 19 years to reach Poland after first launching in 2000. With this move, Poland will be added to the growing list of countries where A&O can be found; this includes the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Austria, and Italy.
