After some speculation, it seems FIBO will remain in Cologne for a number of years to come. With Koelnmesse Ausstellungen GmbH and Reed Exhibitions Deutschland (the organisers) coming to an agreement, the current contract will extend ten years which means Cologne will remain host until at least 2032.
The Rhine River is now the true home of FIBO, and the latter has enjoyed tremendous growth since its relocation. As well as the exhibition area doubling in size, the trade show attracts people from all over the globe and visitor numbers continue to increase. In 2020, new developments are expected, and the show will expand further as the contract rolls on in this new chapter.
