New Romanian Store for Decathlon

2019-10-09 source own
Over the years, Decathlon has built a solid reputation for sports equipment right across Europe and now they’re set to operate in north-western Romania thanks to a new store in Satu Mare. Located at the Aushopping strip mall, it opened last week alongside a new Casa Rusu, a furniture retailer.

Developed by Ceetrus, the shopping mall is currently going through a series of improvements after an investment of €11.5 million promised to double the floor space within. When finished, there will be an additional 4,000 square metres outside for leisure and relaxation. Meanwhile, inside the mall will contain 25,000 square metres of space.

In terms of the new stores, the Casa Rusu location offers 1,300 square metres while Decathlon have taken nearly 1,500 square metres. Elsewhere, the mall now boasts an entertainment area where Cinema One has a multiplex cinema with five screens. By the end of the year, shoppers will also have access to a food court.
