Nike Launches First Łódź Store in Manufaktura, Managed by Apsys

One of the most eagerly anticipated store openings in Łódź this year has finally arrived: Nike has opened a pop-up boutique in the iconic Manufaktura shopping center, offering fans of sportswear and streetwear access to the globally renowned brand. This marks Nike's 14th store in Poland and the very first in Łódź and its surrounding region, catering to a growing demand for premium sportswear and accessories.
A Unique Pop-Up Experience
Spanning 250 square meters, the Nike boutique is located on the first floor of Manufaktura and features an impressive range of products. Beyond the brand's classic sportswear and accessories, the store includes streetwear favorites, such as the highly sought-after Nike Jordan sneakers, which have become a cultural icon among younger consumers.
The store is designed as a pop-up concept that will operate until spring 2025. Afterward, it will undergo an expansion and transition into Nike’s latest retail concept, offering an even more immersive shopping experience.
Nike Meets Local Demand in Łódź
Anna Łajszczak-Kucharska, Tenant Relationship Manager at Manufaktura, emphasized the importance of Nike's arrival:
"We are thrilled to welcome such a globally recognized brand to our portfolio. For years, Nike has been one of the most requested brands in our consumer surveys, particularly among younger shoppers. This opening is a direct response to their needs, and we’re excited to bring Nike to Łódź for the first time."Social media trends and a growing focus on individual expression have significantly increased the popularity of Nike products among all age groups, making the brand a perfect addition to Manufaktura's diverse retail offerings.
Manufaktura: A Destination for Iconic Brands
Managed by Apsys Polska, a leader in commercial real estate development and management in Poland and France, Manufaktura has solidified its reputation as a retail and cultural hub in Łódź. Apsys has successfully developed and managed flagship properties like Posnania in Poznań and Manufaktura in Łódź, with over 800,000 square meters of GLA across 15 retail facilities in 12 major Polish cities.
In addition to retail, Apsys has diversified into residential investments, including Solea Apartments in Warsaw and Wrocławskie Lofty in the heart of Wrocław. The company also operates mixed-use developments and food halls, such as the one in Poznań, highlighting its commitment to creating vibrant, multi-functional spaces.
Nike’s Global Legacy
Nike, a pioneer in sportswear and lifestyle apparel, has been at the forefront of innovation since its inception in the 1960s. Known for blending cutting-edge technology with sleek design, Nike caters to a wide demographic, from professional athletes to streetwear enthusiasts. The brand's arrival in Łódź reflects its strategy to expand its reach in growing markets while staying close to its customers.
A Bright Future for Nike and Manufaktura
The opening of Nike's first store in Łódź is not just a milestone for the brand but also a testament to the growth and modernization of Manufaktura as a premier shopping destination. With its blend of retail, culture, and entertainment, Manufaktura continues to attract globally recognized brands, solidifying its position as a cornerstone of Apsys’s portfolio.
As Nike prepares to expand and enhance its presence in Łódź by 2025, both the brand and Manufaktura are poised to benefit from this strategic partnership, meeting the needs of local shoppers and drawing new visitors to the region.
