SMEs in Poland to benefit from EBRD loan

A loan to the value of €60 million, PLN 255 million, has been announced by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to be used to help small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in Poland. The money will be provided to Raiffeisen-Leasing Polska S.A who will in turn provide valuable financing for SMEs who are looking to become more efficient with new technologies and lower their energy costs.
It is thought that as much as 70% of the €60 million will be used for SMEs based in Poland in an attempt to fund sustainable energy projects with the remainder going towards vehicles and equipment for said businesses. The loan is fantastic news for SMEs who will benefit via either a lease or a loan.
