Taiwan and Poland Sign Landmark Air Transport Agreement

Taiwan and Poland further strengthened ties between their two countries, as well as the Central European region (CE), by signing an air transport agreement, which had an instantaneous effect.
Under the pact, carriers specified by the two countries can provide air transport services between Taiwan and Poland.
The contract was signed by Jack K.C Chiang, representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Warsaw, and Marek Wejtko, chief representative of the Warsaw Trade Office in Taipei.
The binding agreement is forecasted to help boost the operational flexibility of carriers from both countries; according to the Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA), this will further reinforce economic and trade cooperation, and promote tourism growth, together with bilateral air service engagements.
With the pact taking effect, Taiwan and Poland can authorize additional airlines to offer flights on additional routes from Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, and Kaohsiung International Airport in Taiwan, to Warsaw, and two further destinations in Poland, by means of three mid-points, the CAA added.
Air carriers wanting to operate on the new routes will require authorization by the civil aeronautics authorities in the two countries. To learn more about what CeSport can do for you click here
