Two leading Central European stadiums install new Audio systems

2015-02-17 source own

Two stadiums in Central Europe have set up new audio systems the first at Bialystok City Stadium in Poland and the second at Prague’s O2 Arena in the Czech republic.

Białystok City Stadium sound system was designed by Tommex Żebrowscy Sp.J and installed by Zeto S.A. The equipment is based on Community loudspeakers and Dynacord electronics.  Białystok-based Integrator Zeto S.A. finished the installation in time for the opening of the modernised venue, Zeto’s Zbigniew Kaczmarczyk was project manager for the installation .

The O2 Arena in Prague is the latest large-format, multi-use venue to embrace NEXO’s GEO S12-ST sound reinforcement systems, that are high-output long-throw loudspeakers developed especially for stadium and arena use. Supplied and set up by NEXO’s Czech distributor, MusicData, the GEO S12-ST cabinets are hung from a central ‘cube , carrying large screens on each side, which descends from the ceiling for sporting, congresses and corporate events. When the cube is dropped, it remains 24m from the cabinet to the floor, which is where the GEO S12-ST’s long-throw capability comes into its own. The compact 2-way ST cabinets are actually created from the standard GEO S12 design providing the high quality SPL as well as enhanced speech intelligibility necessary for stadium and arena applications.
