Valmont, steel manufacturer, has signed a sponsorship deal with football team Pogon Siedlce who ply their trade in Poland’s Second Division. Valmont are well-known for steel supporting structures and will be providing the football club with four floodlights as part of the deal. Municipal Stadium will be benefitting from the 40-metre high masts in an attempt to put the club in a better position looking forward.
With the company based in Siedlce itself, the move proved to be beneficial for both parties, a point reiterated by Artur Grynkiewicz, Valmont Poland President, as he has said “This is one of the largest and most complex stadium masts we have produced, and we are proud we will be able to admire them all in our hometown”.
Pogon Siedlce escaped relegation in the 2014/15 season and currently lie in 13th place in I Liga, Poland’s second tier.
