World class ski center being built in Poland

The new world class ski center being built by Porr in Jakuszyce Poland is on schedule to be completed in Q1 2021. The project at the Lower Silesian Innovation and Science Park to construct a cross-country skiing and biathlon centre in Szklarska Poręba-Jakuszyce which is on the border between Poland and Czech will become one of Europe’s top centers for the sport and leading center in Central Eastern Europe, the site is 12km from CeSport Central Europe HQ.

The 4 storey centre of over 22,000-sqm is expected to cost € 40 million euros, it will include a sports and conference centre as well as a hotel. The site will also include the construction of a 5.5 hecture with around 2.7 hecture for sporting use with cross-country and biathlon trails, a football pitch, an athletics track, a roller-blading track, an indoor swimming pool, a toboggan run and a hill cycling track. In total, there will be almost 60 kilometres of ski slopes. The main building will comprise a winter sports museum, a wellness centre and a gym.”
