Located in the vibrant Mitte district, the new 114-square-meter space showcases Brompton's innovative folding bikes. A Milestone in Urban Cycling On May 8th, Brompton unveiled Germany's inaugural mono-brand store. CEO Will Butler-Adams highlighted Berlin's cultural significance, stating, "Berlin has always been a melting pot of cultures, ideas, and innovations. This city has inspired Germany and Europe for generations. Brompton has been present in the German market for over twenty-five years. The Berlin Junction represents a pivotal step toward promoting a new urban lifestyle. Our aim is to redefine city cycling, shifting the focus from sports and racing to urban freedom, health, and happiness." Experience Brompton's Heritage Situated on Rosenthaler Straße, one of Berlin's most bustling streets, the store immerses visitors in Brompton's rich history. Nigel Pamphille has been appointed as the store manager, ensuring a top-notch customer experience. Art Meets Cycling To celebrate the Berlin Junction's opening, Brompton collaborated with artist Jule Borths. Known for her unique project "I draw on bikes," Borths has painted two exclusive Brompton folding bike frames. These hand-painted pieces, featuring abstract designs, inspired the Berlin Junction Special Edition, which will be available at the new store. Exclusive Special Model The Berlin Junction offers a limited edition of 100 Brompton P Line bikes, known for their lightness and agility. This special model features 12 gears, a mid bar, and a telescopic saddle, available exclusively at the Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich stores, as well as online. Expanding Brompton's Global Presence With the Berlin store's opening, Brompton now boasts 18 mono-brand stores worldwide. Nine are operated directly by Brompton, while the remaining nine are franchise businesses, including locations in Hamburg, Munich, and Vienna. Having manufactured in West London since the company was first founded in the 1970s, Brompton Bicycle were pleased to take home the award for Manufacturing and Engineering at the London Loves Excellence Awards. Present to collect the award were Managing Director Will Butler-Adams and Global Brand Manager Ross Hawkins. Ross said of the accolade: “Our bikes are made for cities so it’s appropriate that we manufacture them here in London, one of the world’s great capitals. It is what has allowed us to remain agile as we grow, to keep our production standards high and our brand respected internationally. To be recognised for our achievements in the city we all call home is an honour and as with any award, it is a team effort and all the staff at Brompton should be proud of what we have achieved.”
